EV Driving in Seattle – Low Hanging Economic Fruit

It’a a surprisingly wise choice to drive an EV in Seattle, there is very cheap electricity.

For example, using public chargers I drove 5 days in Seattle, about 300 miles, for $15.00; that means for $5.00 I can drive 100 miles. This is the equivalent of gas for $1.00 – 1.25 per gallon!

Seattle is a ripe market to promote EV driving.  There’s no need to generate home rooftop power using solar.  Seattle electric utility is low cost, really low cost. The five line listings below are the dollars I paid to ChargePoint for charging my EV.

The top five line items above are the amount I paid to charge my EV car in Seattle.
