I propose our environmental language change to “Carbon Pollution“, wording that Obama coined.
As we move from easy early adapters to influencing more challenging mainstream America, our wording needs to be more relatable. Measuring carbon, talking carbon language doesn’t connect with mainstream America. We’ll be more effective using the wording “Carbon Pollution” everywhere we think or say the word “carbon”. Simply said, people can’t see carbon, but they can see and relate to air pollution – carbon pollution ties the two together, Obama’s wording.
